What did Pack Show 2022 exhibitors said
<p style=”text-align: justify;”>We considered it an opportune moment to return to the Pack Show (after the break caused by the pandemic – n.r.), to resume collaborations and discussions with current partners, and in the hope that we’ll develop new collaborations. Our customers are generally interested in packaging for fruit and vegetables, packaging for catering and delivery – this segment has gained momentum lately, especially due to the pandemic. Another segment is that of biodegradable products and articles. We have an ever-increasing range of biodegradable, compostable, environmentally friendly packaging made of 100& recycled and 100& recyclable material, as well as packaging made of PLA, sugar cane, and wood.

<p style=”text-align: justify;”>We participate every year at the Pack Show, we are traditional customers. We deal with inkjet industrial packaging, and currently have JET2 NEO on the market, the equipment that addresses medium productions – for marking and coding. We also have a lot of updates on the software side and the accessories we have in our portfolio for each product.

<p style=”text-align: justify;”>After this period in which no one really met with the clients, we, and the clients couldn’t wait to come back, to see each other again, to discuss the past period, the old and the new projects that will follow, and to we profit a little – perhaps – from our competition’s indecision. I risked and came – and I think it was a good decision. The industry has changed and will continue to change dramatically. We started production in Romania with one of our partners, and we hope that in the future we’ll convince other partners of ours to start production in Romania.

<p style=”text-align: justify;”>It was a difficult decision to participate in the Pack Show, after a break of almost two years caused by the pandemic, but in the end, it was impossible not to come to this exhibition. I’m very happy that I made this decision. It seems to me that the interest is somewhat similar to that before the pandemic, the audience is mixed, as usual – we also have the student groups, who are our customers of tomorrow, we also have people who are less interested in technology, and they are just watching the news, but there are also clients who have a real interest, who want to make purchases or projects with European funds. I am satisfied with the audience we have; it is not more than we expected, but it meets the requirements for us to be satisfied after these days.

<p style=”text-align: justify;”>We decided to participate in the Pack Show out of the desire to be with our partners and continue to offer them the best solutions. Their interest is now focused on optimizing costs and packaging processes – there is a lot of pressure here. The packaging market has grown a lot in the last two years, as a result of the processes’ automation and the e-commerce development, during the pandemic.

<p style=”text-align: justify;”>We want to make a tradition of participating in the Pack Show, I think it is important to introduce ourselves to our customers and through such exhibitions, it is a good opportunity to show them where our packaging industry and related industries are going and how we see things in future. We observe a trend towards professionalization. People who have no interest do not come to the Pack Show, only those who have a specific interest in packaging and packaging solutions come. The packaging market has changed a lot, we are facing an unprecedented situation in the last 20-30 years: for a year and a half, we have had monthly price increases for raw materials, which means that absolutely all processes to be affected (from the purchase to the one for sale), being necessary a continuous adaptation to the new conditions.
